Hi Everyone,

Newsletter are now up for members from Oct through Dec 2011, if you haven''t received yours yet then contact us and we'll let you know how to get at them!

We look forward to more regular posts and updates to the site in the new years so do let us know your tips, tricks and submissions....

From the newsletter we see that it is now the time to plant: asparagus, French beans, beetroot, broccoli, cabbages, capsicum, carrots, cauliflower, celery, cucumber, eggplant, kohlrabi, lettuce, okra, parsnips, potatoes, radishes, shallots, silverbeet, squash, sweetcorn, tomatoes, zucchini

And a great article on Perilla, whats that you haven't heard of Perilla then join up and grad the newsletter from the archive and the ones coming in future months.

March Newsletter

The March Newsletter is now available online for members' viewing pleasure.

Linda has including some important information about a VERY important body part. And of course there are a plethora of handy gardening hints.

Reminder if you haven't already acted - membership and plot hire fees are now due for 2011.

February Newsletter

The February Newsletter has been uploaded to the site now and members can find it in the Newsletter Archives after logging in. January was a bit of a wild month so understandably there was no January Newsletter this year.

This month we have a focus on strawberries and comfrey and there are two recipes for using up the abundance of cucumbers we have at the moment.

I know this tough little customer is growing out of the corners of our plot at TCOGA! Looks like we'll have to call in the cavalry on this one.

Reminders
Our next General Meeting is scheduled for Sunday the 13th of February at 10am at the gardens.
Membership fees are now due for 2011. Payment can be made by direct deposit or see Mary.

October Newsletter

The October Newsletter has been uploaded to the site now and members can find it in the Newsletter Archives after logging in.

This month Linda talks about thoughtful planting. This is an area not often thought about but it a valuable part of gardening! Overplanting and lack of variety can result if not enough thought is applied to our green thumb endeavours.

There is a section on "square foot gardening", wildlife-friendly gardening and a recipe for some intriguing Rosemary biscuits.
